Le CAMP NO BORDER DE BRUSSEL s’inscrit dans la tradition des camps No Border organisés à travers le monde depuis les années 90. Ni cadre normatif ni organisation, NoBorder est avant tout une convergence de luttes et une rencontre, à un moment donné, dans un espace donné.
Comme à Calais ou à Lesbos en 2009, il s’agira de créer un espace de partage. Partage et échange d’informations, de compétences et d’expériences, voire d’expertise. Un espace de préparation et de mise en oeuvre de démarches visant à obtenir la fin du système de frontières qui nous divise tous et toutes.
NOS PRINCIPES DE BASE SONT:
– Les mêmes droits pour toutes et tous!
– La liberté de circulation et d’installation!
– Ni frontières ni nations!
– Personne n’est illégal!
POURQUOI A BRUXELLES ?
L’Union Européenne s’emploie depuis plus de 10 ans à ériger une Europe Forteresse. Elle externalise ses frontières en Asie et en Afrique et se dote de patrouilles de gardes frontières, hélicoptères et navires grâce à son agence Frontex (Agence européenne pour la gestion de la coopération opérationnelle aux frontières extérieures). De plus, sa politique extérieure permet désormais de rémunérer des états, de l’Ukraine au Maroc, pour qu’ils effectuent à sa place le travail de "prévention" de l’immigration.
De par son rôle de capitale de l’Europe, Bruxelles est le symbole de la mise en oeuvre de cette politique (anti)migratoire. En y organisant le camp No Border, nous remettrons en question ces politiques européennes.
QUAND À BRUXELLES?
– La construction du NoBorder camp aura lieu du 24 au 26 septembre 2010
– Les activités débuteront le 27 pour se poursuivre jusqu’au 3 octobre.
– Une grande manifestation est prévue le 2 octobre 2010.
Une semaine pendant laquelle nous aimerions voir Bruxelles fourmiller d’activités autour des politiques (anti)migratoires et de leurs conséquences, une occasion de lutter ensemble sous divers modes d’action mais aussi de créer des dynamiques communes à plus long terme. Nous invitons toutes les associations et tous les particuliers à participer comme elles/ils le souhaitent et à proposer des activités ou des collaborations.
COMMENT APPORTER SON SOUTIEN ?
Un CAMP NO BORDER est ce que l’on veut en faire :
– par des idées d’ateliers, de films ou d’une exposition, un orateur intéressant ou d’autres propositions modestes et/ou géniales
– par des propositions de terrains, de locaux, de lieux permettant de loger des activistes et/ou d’y organiser des activités
– par un apport financier
– par l’organisation d’une activité, d’une soirée de soutien
– en participant en réseau avec d’autres…

Het NO BORDER CAMP IN BRUSSEL kadert in de traditie van de No Border kampen die sinds de jaren 90 over de hele wereld georganiseerd worden. Geen normatief kader, geen organisatie. Een NoBorder kamp is een samenkomst van verzet en van ontmoeting, op een bepaald moment en op een bepaalde plek.
Zoals in Calais en Lesbos in 2009 zullen we een ruimte creëren waar we informatie, ervaringen en deskundigheid delen. Het zal plaats bieden aan de voorbereiding van acties waarmee we een einde willen maken aan het systeem vangrenzen dat ons en alles verdeelt.
ONZE BASISPRINCIPES ZIJN:
– Gelijke rechten voor iedereen
– Geen grenzen, geen naties
– Vrij verkeer en installatie voor iedereen
– Niemand is illegaal
WAAROM IN BRUSSEL?
De Europese Unie is al 10 jaar bezig met het oprichten van Fort Europa. Het breidt zijn grenzen uit in Azië en Afrika en maakt gebruik van grenswachtpolitie, helikopters en schepen met behulp van Frontex (Europees agentschap voor het beheer van de operationele samenwerking aan de buitengrenzen van de lidstaten van de Europese Unie). Bovendien maakt haar buitenlandbeleid het mogelijk dat landen van Oekraïne tot aan Marokko middelen krijgen om "preventief" te kunnen optreden tegen immigratie.
Omwille van zijn rol als hoofdstad van Europa is Brussel een symbool van die migratiepolitiek. Door het No Border kamp hier te organiseren, stellen we de Europese integratiepolitiek in vraag.
WANNEER IN BRUSSEL?
– De opbouw van het kamp zal plaatsvinden van 24 tot 26 september 2010.
– De activiteiten en acties zullen starten op 27 september en doorlopen tot 3 oktober.
– Op zaterdag 2 oktober is er een grote manifestatie gepland.
Tijdens deze week zouden we graag zien dat verschillende activiteiten en acties in Brussel plaatsvinden over de (anti)migratie politiek en zijn gevolgen. Het kamp biedt de gelegenheid om samen te strijden onder verschillende actievormen en om samen een dynamiek op te bouwen op lange termijn. Wij nodigen alle organisaties uit om deel te nemen zoals zij het wensen, door eigen activiteiten voor te stellen of samen te werken.
HOE DEELNEMEN EN STEUNEN?
Een No Border kamp is wat ieder ervan wil maken:
– door ideeën te geven voor workshops, films of tentoonstellingen, een interessante spreker,…
– door terreinen, lokalen, logeerplekken aan te bieden voor activisten of om activiteiten in te organiseren.
– door een financiële bijdrage te leveren
– door een activiteit of evenement te organiseren
– door deel te nemen en samen te werken met anderen
– door het vertalen van teksten
Met hoe meer we zijn, hoe beter we gehoord zullen worden, hoe sneller we vooruit geraken!

The NO BORDER CAMP IN BRUSSELS is set up in the tradition of No Border camps organised across the globe since the 90s. Neither a formal organisation, nor a normative frame, No Border is first of all a convergence of struggles and a meeting set in a particular moment, in a particular place.
As in Calais or Lesbos in 2009, it will be a free space dedicated to sharing information, experience or expertise. It will provide space for the preparation and implementation of actions aimed at smashing the borders that divide us all.
OUR BASIC PRINCIPLES ARE:
– Equal rights for everybody!
– No borders, no nations!
– Freedom of movement and settlement
– No-one is illegal !
WHY IN BRUSSELS?
For 10 years, the European Union has been busy to build a Fortress Europe. It outsources its borders in Asia and Africa and makes use of border guard patrols, helicopters and ships through its Frontex agency (European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders). Moreover, its foreign policy now allows financing states from Ukraine to Morocco in order to have them performing its own work of "prevention" of immigration.
As the capital of Europe, Brussels is the symbol of this (anti) migration policy. By organising the No Border Camp there, we will question these European (anti) migration policies.
WHEN IN BRUSSELS?
– The construction of the No Border camp will take place from September 24 to 26
– Activities and actions will start from September 27 until October 3 with a big demonstration on Saturday the 2th of October 2010.
During this one week we would like to see in Brussels swarm with a variety of activities around (anti) migrations policies and their consequences. The camp will be an opportunity to fight together combining different kinds of actions, but also to create common initiatives with a longterm vision. We invite all associations and individuals to participate the way they wish, by proposing activities or collaborations.
HOW TO CONTRIBUTE AND SUPPORT?
A NOBORDERCAMP is what everyone makes of it:
– Offer ideas for workshops, films or exhibition, or contacting speakers, artists, or any other modest and/or brilliant proposals
– Proposals concerning grounds, premises, places to house militants and/or organise activities
– A financial contribution
– By organising an activity, event support to raise money for the camp
– To participate in networking with others…
– To translate, if so, in what language
The more we are, the better we will be heard, the fastest we will go forward.

Oproep voor Medische Teams
1) Wat is het No Border camp
Van 27 september tot 3 Okt wordt in Brussel een No Border Camp georganiseerd.
De opbouw van het kamp zal starten op 25september, gedurende de ganse week zijn er activiteiten in en rondom brussel en een grote betoging vindt plaats op 2 Oktober.
Een no border camp wil mensen samenbrengen die zich achter de eisen van no border kunnen scharen om samen te debatteren, te feesten, te informeren, en te protesteren.
De No Border beweging zet zich in tegen de tegen de europese en wereldwijde migratiepolitiek, voor vrijheid van beweging en vestiging en voor de afschaffing van grenzen.
Dit evenement zal honderden, misschien duizenden mensen verzamelen, zowel uit België als uit andere landen. En om het allemaal praktisch geregeld te krijgen zijn er verschillende werkgroepen opgericht die zich bezig houden met de praktische organisatie van het kamp, waaronder een werkgroep voor het medisch team en EHBA.
Jaren van mobilisatie en no border camps, hebben ons immers geleeerd dat als we verzamelen om actie te voeren tegen de brutaliteit van de staat, zijn grenzen of zijn sociale controle, we onszelf ook moeten voorbereiden op de trauma’s en de risico’s die zo’n protest meebrengt
2) Wat is het medisch team in dit no border kamp?
Op dit moment bestaat het medisch team slechts uit een aantal mensen, die ervaring of kennis hebben over medische opvang, en die zich engageren om tegen de start van het no border kamp een medisch team uit te bouwen. Maar daarvoor hebben ze hulp van andere mnesen nodig
Zo’n medisch team voor een no border kamp bestaat uit zowel een
– medische eerste lijnsdienst voor het kamp zelf: advies en eerste lijnszorg, permanentie op het kamp zelf.
– Eerste hulp bij Acties : organiseren van mobiele medische teams dieop betogingen of acties tijdens het kamp meegaan om eventuele eerste hulp te kunnen bieden.
-traumacorner: betogingen , en de repressie die ermee samenhangt kunnen mensen zwaar raken, we willen daarom graag ook een plaats inrichten waar mensen die behoefte hebben om een gesprek te hebben over wat ze hebben meegemaakt kunnen langskomen en opgevangen worden.
De hoeveelheid en de kwaliteit van de medische begeleiding hangt af van de mensen die het medisch team ondersteunen op het kamp en het medisch materiaal dat we ter beschikking zullen hebben
Doel van het medisch team:
– Vooraf informatie geven over welke potentieel gevaarlijke situaties er in betogingen of acties kunnen plaatsvinden, en uitleg geven hoe men zich kan beschermen in deze situaties. Preventie dus
– Andere groepen opzoeken met wie we kunnen samenwerken
– Medisch materiaal vinden
– Vrijwilligers zoeken
– Ziekenhuizen en medische diensten contacteren om eventuele afsrpaken te maken
– Een etische code voor het medisch team ontwikkelen
Alle hulp zal meer dan welkom zijn en erg geapprecieerd worden.
3) Wat kan jij doen voor het medisch team:
Heb jij een auto ter beschikking die je wil gebruiken om het medisch team uit de nood te helpen?
Wil je meehelpen om dit medisch team op poten te zetten
Heb jij zelf medisch materiaal op overschot,
heb je ervaring met EHBO of trauma opvang, ben je verpleger of dokter, ben jij iemand die veel ervaring heeft in grote betogingen en niet gemakkelijk panikeert

Callout for the medical teams
1) What is the no border camp?
From sept 27 until oct3thd a No Border camp is being organized in Brussels.
The build-up of the camp will start on sept 25th, with a lot of activities organized during the week and a big manifestation for October the 2nd.
A no border camp want to gather people who support the demands of no border and who want to gather to debate, inform, protest, view documentary’s and party.
The no border movement struggles against the European and Belgian migracy policy, for freedom of movement and settlement and for the abolition of borders
This event wil attract hundreds , maybe thousands of people , from Belgium as well as other countries. And to get things organized different workgroups have been established who take care of the practical organization, including one workgroup on medical teams.
Years of mobilizations and no bordercamps have learned us that if we gather to protest the brutality of the state, it’s borders or it’s social control, we have to prepare ourselves for the risks and trauma’s that such a protest can cause.
2) What is the medical team on this no border camp:
For the moment this medical team consist of but a few people , who have some experience or knowledge about medical first line help, First aid, Trauma support ,… and who want to organise the medical team on the no border camp. Bur they need help from more people.
The medical help we want to provide for the no border camp consists of:
– A medical first line service for the camp itself: a place in the camp where people can come to if they have a medical problem
– First Aid in actions teams: mobile teams of two or three persons who want to provide first aid to actions or protest that will happen during this week.
– Trauma support: during protest or actions things can get rough. Talking about things that went wrong can help us to cope with possible trauma’s
The quantity and the quality of the support offered by the medical team will depend upon the material and the people we will find.
Goals of the medical team:
– Prevention: hints on dangerous situations that can occur on protest and consulting people how they can protect themselves.
– Searching for other groups willing to provide medical services.
– Contacting established medical services for cooperations.
– Finding medical equipment
– Finding volunteers.
– Develop an ethical code for the medic team
all help will be welcomed and much appreciated
3) What can you do for the medical team?
a. Are you skilled or experienced in providing first aid, are you a licensed nurse or doctor, are you skilled or experienced in providing trauma support. Are you experienced in possible dangerous situations during protest, are wou willing to learn more about first aid on actions?
b. Can you keep a cool head under difficult circumstances or pressure?
c. Can you provide medical material or transport for the medical teams?

CAMP NOBORDER du 27 septembre au 3 octobre 2010
Appel pour une équipe de premiers soins et pour un soutien médical
Du 27 septembre au 3 octobre est organisé un « camp » Noborder à Bruxelles avec une grande manifestation internationale le 2 octobre.
La construction du Camp ou des Camps commencera le samedi 25 septembre. Les activités débuteront le 27 septembre avec une grande manifestation le 3 octobre et une journée de bilan le 4 octobre. Une grande manifestation aura lieu le samedi 2 octobre. Le 3 octobre est consacré à un débriefing de la semaine.
Cette activité est organisé dans la prolongation du mouvement NOBORDER pour protester contre les politiques migratoires européennes, pour la liberté de circulation et d’installation et pour l’abolition des frontières.
Cet évènement rassemblera plusieurs centaines, voir quelques milliers de personnes, venant de Belgique et de l’étranger. Plusieurs groupes de travail ont été mis en place pour organiser, entourer cette semaine d’activités, dont une équipe médicale.
Plus d’une décennie de mobilisations et de camps d’actions ont montré que lorsque nous nous réunissons pour des actions de masse, il est important d’organiser collectivement notre capacité à gérer les urgences médicales. Il a aussi été montré que quand nous descendons dans la rue pour protester contre la brutalité policière, étatique et contre toutes formes de contrôle social, nous prenons souvent des risques considérables.. Il est donc important d’être prêt à gérer les traumatismes éventuelles.
Il n’y a actuellement pas de co-ordination d’équipe médicale pour cette activité d’une semaine mais il y a déjà un certain nombre de personnes qui ont une expérience médicale de la rue et des camps. Ils peuvent nous informer, nous aider à mettre une équipe médicale sur pieds. La quantité et la qualité de soutien que nous pouvons offrir dépendra du nombre de personnes que nous serons ainsi que des compétences et du matériel que nous aurons à disposition.
Toute aide que vous pouvez apporter sera donc grandement appréciée!

ROLE DE CE GROUPE:
Le rôle de ce groupe a plusieurs facettes dont je résume les principaux:
Informer sur les préventions médicales de base et lors de manifestation/actions et diffuser ces informations
Contacter les différents groupes de travail pour les informer et collaborer
Trouver des équipement pour les postes médicaux.
Assurer les permanences lors de la semaine d’activités
Organiser un médicalteam lors des manifestations/actions (plusieurs groupes de 2 OU 3 personnes),
Contacter les hôpitaux du territoire, les services de première urgence pour collaboration
Former un groupe trauma avec des psychologues
Faire une charte du groupe médicale
CE DONT NOUS AVONS BESOIN:
Nous avons besoin de personnes ayant une formation médicale, de secouristes formés, d’infirmiers de rue, de psychologues, d’infirmières et de médecins prêts à se porter volontaires pour faire partie de l’équipe médicale. Nous avons également besoin de personnes ayant l’expérience de situations d’ordre public et de personnes ayant une connaissance du système médical belge. L’administration de premiers soins pendant les manifestations doit pouvoir se faire en équipe (au moins par paire) et la nécessite des personnes qui comprennent la situation et savent garder leur sang froid en cas de crise. Nous aurons également besoin d’aide logistique, pour la communication, de voitures, de chauffeurs, etc…
